In 2019, Anna Willis, a solicitor, launched issue.watch, to provide a platform for people to speak up about the issues affecting their lives. Anna has a particular interest in establishing an independent, transparent complaints management system in aged care, so that providers will acknowledge and resolve resident issues efficiently and effectively, and as necessary improve practices and procedures.
Dr Sarah Russell is a public health researcher and aged care advocate. She believes the aged care system requires greater scrutiny, accountability and transparency.
Erietta is a user experience and service designer. Her interest in aged care follows her father’s illness and family’s experience with health and aged care providers. She went on to work for one of these providers for two years meeting many dedicated and inspiring workers. Erietta believes in defining change from the people we need to better support -- older people, their families, and aged care workers.
