I know there are lots of negative stories about Aged Care Facilities.
I’m going to share my positive experience…
Medically, we had to place our 91-year-old mother in an Aged Care Facility in August 2021. I was dreading the process but deep down we all knew it had to be the next step. My mum will be 93, in December.
I am so very happy with where she is. I know firsthand that she is really well cared for.
The staff are absolutely amazing! I credit all of the staff for all that they do. It’s a really tough gig. They are such hard workers! Only for special people.
I was extremely lucky to have found this wonderful facility during [the COVID-19] lockdown! Only through phone calls & emails but I developed a great feeling via my interactions. My instincts were spot on!
I continue to feel very pleased and at ease with my mother’s care. I know that she is in very good hands. I visit her a couple of times a week. I always look forward to visiting my mum & spending quality time with her, in her new home away from home.
